Make A Pitch Contest
Are you a potential entrepreneur? You are if you have ever had a brilliant idea for a product or service that the world desperately needs, or an idea that will help people, make money, or solve real problems.
Here is your chance to present your idea in a competition that will not only give you exposure, but will give you a chance to make some FAST cash. All you need to do is talk about your idea in a logical and convincing way for 5 minutes.
Any currently registered CMU undergraduate student from ANY academic discipline may submit up to a ONE PAGE typed description of their entrepreneurial product or service to the LEC in 164 Grawn Hall. All submissions will be reviewed by the LEC committee and 20 will be selected for each competition.
At the competition, students will be allowed 5 minutes to present their idea as a potential product or service for a targeted market, describe the need for the product or service and how their product or service satisfies that need.
One CMU student will be awarded $500. This competition is intended to further stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit!! Any student interested in future dates or more information or guidelines on the "Make a Pitch" contest can contact the LEC in 164 Grawn Hall or call 774-3270.
